The Police Department provides comprehensive law enforcement services to citizens through its divisions: Operations, Support Services and Administrative Services.
Administration is responsible for records, budgeting, purchasing, planning and recruitment. Professional standards is responsible for internal affairs investigations, public information, accreditation, grants, policy and training.
The Support Services Division is supervised by the Support Services Division Commander and includes Investigations, Community Services Unit, School Resource Unit and Colonial Community Corrections.
